11/04/2024. Opentop, Valenciaport’s open innovation hub, held yesterday at its facilities the Pitch Day of the challenge proposed by Infoport: “AI to connect different information systems in transport and port logistics”.
The shortlisted startups WonderBits, Sciling, Pangeanic and Neuraptic defended their solutions before a professional committee to opt to be part of Opentop’s Business Growth Program.
The startup finally chosen will be announced shortly to start the program in late April along with the startup selected to meet the challenge proposed by ARSINOE “Adapting ports to climate change”, and the startup chosen to solve the challenge of the Port Authority of Valencia “Situational awareness of the port police in the Port of Valencia: the case of dangerous goods”, which will also be announced soon.
Miguel Ángel Portugues, Head of Innovation at Infoport stressed that “we are open to any type of startup that feels qualified to try to provide a solution to the challenge. We think that the current moment is the right time to raise it given the rapid expansion and evolution of artificial intelligence”.
The startup selected for the program will have access to continuous contact with the leading companies in the sector, and will work hand in hand with Infoport to develop the solution to this real challenge already identified by the company.
In addition, their use cases will be validated with a wide network of mentors and professionals in a personalized program in which they will receive a comprehensive assessment to focus on the needs identified, as well as the opportunity to find synergies with other startups in the Opentop ecosystem.
The startups shortlisted for the Infoport challenge
WonderBits helps companies to extract information from data, from digitization to data analytics and automation with Artificial Intelligence.
For its part, Sciling develops customized solutions for companies, innovative and based on Artificial Intelligence technology.
Pangeanic, on the other hand, produces generative AI models and works on the development of machine translation and PLN technologies.
And finally, Neuraptic, proposes the first native multimodal AI model capable of merging data from different sources into a single model, achieving greater success in predictions.
