Gasnam-Neutral Transport is a sustainable transport association that integrates the gas and hydrogen value chain in order to meet the environmental, economic and operational challenges of land, sea and air transport in Spain and Portugal. It has more than 150 members from multiple sectors: energy, automotive, engineering, freight and passenger transport, ports, shipping companies, shipyards, universities, research centres and administrations.
The association’s main objective is to contribute to the decarbonisation and energy transition of society. To this end, the association has organised 5 working groups covering various specific aspects, specifically the groups Maritime Transport, Land Transport, Hydrogen, Biomethane and Portugal.
Fundación Valenciaport actively participates in the ‘Maritime Transport’ working group, where technological and regulatory aspects of the adoption of new low-carbon fuels for the sector are discussed, and in the ‘Hydrogen’ working group, whose main objective is to promote this technology by boosting the production and distribution of hydrogen. In addition, in a more cross-cutting manner, it also receives results from other groups, analyses the reports and studies shared by the association and participates in the public consultations to which it responds.
