Startup Valencia is a private non-profit organisation that, since 2017, represents Valencian startups and promotes the Valencian innovative and technological ecosystem to turn the region into a technological hub of international reference. Among the main objectives of Startup Valencia are the consolidation of the Valencian Community in the technological field, the promotion of entrepreneurship, the connection with scientific-university talent and the creation of a suitable framework for the scaling of digital projects. Startup Valencia organises the Valencia Digital Summit, a benchmark event that attracts thousands of participants from all over the world and generates a significant economic impact, contributing to the development of the local business and technological fabric.
Fundación Valenciaport, through Opentop, collaborates with Startup Valencia, thus contributing to the development of the Valencian innovative ecosystem, helping to consolidate Valencia as a technological hub at an international level, especially in the maritime and logistics-port sector. This synergy not only strengthens startups in these sectors, but also promotes new technological solutions.
As part of this collaboration, Opentop is organising, within the framework of the Valencia Digital Summit, the Port Entrepreneurship International Congress, an event dedicated exclusively to innovation in the maritime and port logistics sector by entrepreneurs and startups. It brings together key figures in entrepreneurship and the sector from other ports and international port innovation hubs, as well as national and international startups, together with key figures from the Valenciaport cluster to discuss challenges and opportunities in the sector, engage in conversations about innovation and analyse strategies of national and international companies to grow hand in hand with the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
In its 2024 edition, this event has been supported by the Conselleria de Innovación, Industria, Comercio y Turismo de la Generalitat Valenciana. File: EMENTI/2024/31. Amount of the subsidy: 21.000 €.
