Open ENLoCC, ‘European Network of Logistics Competence Centers‘, was established as a continuation of the “ENLoCC” project and constitutes an open network of regional logistics competence centers.
The main objective of the network is to foster the international exchange of experience and knowledge among its participants, as well as to promote a higher level of cooperation with European institutions.
Open ENLoCC members collaborate on common projects with the aim of boosting regional economic development by addressing infrastructure, organizational and technological problems in the fields of logistics and transport. The results of the network’s activities and best practices are widely disseminated, involving key stakeholders at the European level.
Open ENLoCC members mainly include research organizations, logistics nodes, universities and public authorities. Over time, the number of members has grown, covering virtually all major regions in Europe, including the UK.
Fundación Valenciaport has supported this network since its inception by contributing its experience and vision on the role of ports in transport and logistics, with the aim of seeking to optimize and make this sector more sustainable through cooperation and innovation.
