Last weekend saw the start of the 1st edition of the University Expert in Innovation and Digitalisation of the port logistics sector, a programme that has the backing of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and is co-directed by the latter, by INNDUX Digital Group and by Fundación Valenciaport.
This course was created with the aim of attracting, training and supporting the talent of the port logistics community in its process of implementing Industry 4.0, to raise awareness both among individuals in their leadership capacity, and among organisations in their role as a driving force for accelerating the changes that are necessary to achieve a genuine digital transformation. This was made clear during the inaugural session by José Aguilar, academic director of the programme, Rafael Navarro, CEO of Inndux and Ana Rumbeu, Training Director of Fundación Valenciaport.
The teaching staff of the course is made up of professors from the Universitat Politécnica de Valencia and executives from Fundación Valenciaport, Inndux and the port logistics sector, who will provide a dual vision, on the one hand, the professional vision of the sector with its needs and challenges, and on the other, the technological vision with its developments, solutions and projects applicable to logistics and the ports of the future.
The students of this first edition are professionals from the national and Latin American port logistics sector, as well as from other sectors, who have discovered opportunities for growth and development in the field of logistics and ports. After the 200 hours of the 100% online programme, the students will learn about all the trends and technologies that will influence and impact port logistics activity in the coming years.
