#SuperLabPorts is intended to be the meeting place for the different agents that make up both the maritime-port industry and the innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem. One of its main purposes is to define a strategy of open innovation and entrepreneurship, through the co-design of innovative solutions that can be developed and implemented in the Port of Valencia based on demand and thus contribute to achieving its challenge of zero net emissions in 2030.

The #SuperLabPorts space is designed to be multifunctional and multipurpose for collaborative work and co-creation as a catalyst for the decarbonisation of the maritime-port sector, through a fundamental transformation of the economic, social and financial systems. It has facilities in the Fundación Valenciaport with a multipurpose hall with capacity for 50 people that has a video-wall for workshops and conferences, a co-working space where regular stays can be made for the development of projects and meeting rooms.

This is a necessary step for the constitution of the European Centre of Excellence in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Climate Change for the Maritime-Port Sector with headquarters in Valencia, which will focus on promoting pre-commercial innovation and implementation of entrepreneurial initiatives in the fight against climate change in the maritime-port sector at a European level.
