Skillful’s main objective was to identify the skills and competences of the Transport Workforce of the future and to define the training methods and tools needed to meet them. The specific purposes were threefold: to review the existing, emerging and future knowledge and skills requirements of the transportation industry; to structure the key specifications and components of the curricula and training courses; and, to identify and propose new business roles in the education and training chain.

The Fundación Valenciaport implemented and/or supervised the following activities:

• Analysis of training needs, emphasizing on lifelong training of low to middle-skilled workers: interviews (>30). 5 workshops.
