Presentation
Course title: Port logistics English in a simulated business environment in international trade
Format: Semi-presential
Date: 5 February - 5 March
Timetable: 15:30 a 18:30
Language: Spanish
Course objectives
The universal language in maritime trade and in the international logistics sector in general is undoubtedly English.
Although it has been proven that the level of English of students who join the sector after studying Vocational Training (VET) is adequate for fluent communication, and in many cases they even have knowledge of a more formal vocabulary, the reality is that only in the workplace is it possible to discover the style of communication that is required in each circumstance, as well as the appropriate terms.
For this reason, the aim of this course is to open a window onto these situations, to teach teachers to become familiar with and acquire skills and knowledge of the reality of working in companies, which will greatly facilitate the incorporation of students into the logistics-port sector.
Who it is aimed at
The course is aimed at VET teachers of the Commerce and Marketing family who teach International Commerce.
