Valencia – 11.01.22. The ninth edition of the Customs Representative theoretical course, a programme organised by Fundación Valenciaport, in collaboration with ATEIA OLTRA Valencia, will start on 28 January and will be taught in classroom format at its facilities.
Following the publication in May 2014 of the latest amendment to Royal Decree 335/10, which regulates the right to make customs declarations and the figure of the customs representative, Fundación Valenciaport was accredited by the State Agency of Tax Administration to teach this course and offer its students a differentiating element: they are exempt from the theoretical test once they have passed the course, which is a clear advantage over other applicants to be accredited as customs representatives.
This ninth edition, which will be held at weekends and consists of a total of 130 hours of training, has been revised in line with new customs updates and includes new technological tools that will help to make the learning process more dynamic. In addition, it should be noted that all the teaching staff are 100% linked to customs and that mock exams will be held to ensure the success of the training process.
The course is aimed at all those people related to foreign trade and logistics who are interested in obtaining this professional accreditation, mainly current customs managers and legal representatives of forwarding companies and customs agencies in the sector who have not yet been able to obtain it. In addition to this theoretical course, Fundación Valenciaport periodically offers a practical course, lasting 100 hours, aimed especially at students who have already taken the theoretical course and which is approached from a practical perspective through the resolution of cases as training for the real exam. This practical course is held once the exam has been published in the BOE (Official State Gazette), so that the students who are going to take the practical exam have the contents of the exam recently and are guaranteed to be successful.
