Valencia, 25 May 2022. – Fundación Valenciaport is from today a member of the MEDCRUISE association. Its formal incorporation has been approved during the 60th General Assembly of the association, held in Palamós (Costa Brava – Gerona) and organized by Costa Brava Cruise Ports, in which Carolina Navarro, Director of Port-City, Mobility and Cruises of Fundación Valenciaport, has participated.
The participation in MedCruise of Fundación Valenciaport, which has had the support of the Port Authority of Valencia, aims to promote innovation in the cruise sector in a sustainable way and also to increase its network of contacts.
MEDCRUISE
MEDCRUISE aims to promote the cruise sector in the Mediterranean and its adjacent seas, helping its members to benefit from the growth of the cruise sector by providing a network of contacts, as well as opportunities for promotion and professional development. It also advocates their interests in international forums and cruise policy debates.
MedCruise currently represents more than 145 ports in 22 countries in the Mediterranean region, including the Black Sea, Red Sea and Near Atlantic, in addition to 35 associate members, representing other associations, tourist boards, shipping and port agents.
