- 32 students, all of them managers, presidents, directors and executives of responsibility, from different ports in Brazil are taking the IV edition of this programme.
Valencia, March 11th, 2024. – Last Friday, 8th March, the inauguration event of the IV edition of the Master in Logistics and Port Management taught by Fundación Valenciaport in Brazil took place in Brasilia.
This edition once again has more than 30 participants, specifically 32 students, all of them managers, presidents, directors and executives of responsibility, from different ports in Brazil who trust in this entity to train and equip themselves with the knowledge and tools necessary to face the port challenges.
The programme began with the subject of Strategic Planning given by the President of Fundación Valenciaport and Deputy Director of Innovation and Strategy of the Port Authority of Valencia, Francesc Sánchez. Next, Miguel Garín, Director of International Development of the Foundation, gave a class on intermodality and logistics operators; ending with the subject of human resources management, given by Ana Rumbeu, Director of Training of the Foundation and expert in human resources management, competencies and emotional intelligence. Jonas Mendes Constante, senior consultant in Port Innovation and Strategy at the Foundation and coordinator of international cooperation and training activities in Brazil, moderated the sessions.
The Master includes 6 weeks of classroom training in Brazil, plus 1 week in Galénica, and 18 weeks taught in online format. All of them full of activities, forums and debates that make this programme a unique training endorsed by the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
The Master in Logistics and Port Management has also been taught in Panama, Argentina, Mexico and Colombia, making a total of 10 international editions. A programme that is undoubtedly a benchmark in training in Latin American ports, constituting a bridge and a unique link between Latin American ports and the Port of Valencia.
