The Port Innovators Network (PIN) is pleased to welcome SmartportLab, the innovation hub of the Port of Bahia Blanca, to the network.
SmartportLab is a startup incubator and accelerator that through open innovation programs, seeks to connect talent with large companies in the port logistics sector.
SmartportLab aims to build a smarter, more efficient, sustainable, and community-integrated port-industrial ecosystem.
As a member, SmartportLab will connect its port innovation community to PIN, the first global network of port innovation hubs. The new connection benefits SmartportLab’s own community and other PIN members’ communities by fostering better links among startups, corporates, entrepreneurs, and partners across all hubs.
The announcement was made during the Port Entrepreneurship International Congress by Opentop, held in Valencia on October 23rd. This second edition of the Congress gathered key participants and stakeholders in innovation and entrepreneurship in the port, maritime and logistics sectors.

Established in October 2023 by the innovation hubs of the Port of Hamburg (homePORT), the Port of Halifax (The PIER) and the Port of Valencia (Opentop), PIN is connecting port innovation hubs around the world.
