Empresa de Docas de Ceará (CDC), a public company linked to the Ministry of Ports and Airports/National Secretariat of Ports and River Transport of Brazil, whose objective is to carry out the administration and commercial operation of the Port of Fortaleza, acting as Port Authority, requested a proposal for us to develop a Zero Emissions Plan based on the knowledge and experience of the Port of Valencia in this area.

The Valenciaport Foundation offered to provide technical assistance for the evaluation of CO2 emissions (carbon footprint) related to the operation of the port terminals of the Port of Fortaleza (Brazil).

The Technical Assistance also includes the elaboration of a Decarbonization Plan for the reduction of GHG emissions related to port activities in accordance with the objectives established by Docas do Ceará.
